Hello
We are Alex & Nicole Boyle, church planting missionaries to Namibia.
Background
Without us knowing, God prepared Nicole and me for ministry in Southern Africa. I accepted Christ as my Savior when I was four years old. I recognized that I was a sinner and that I needed the free gift of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross to save me from my sin.
Nicole is the third generation in her family to serve in Southern Africa. Like her father before her, she was raised on the mission field. Her background means that she is fluent in Afrikaans and very familiar with several cultures and ministries in the region. Nicole was saved around age nine when her family was preparing to travel to the U.S. on furlough. God used Nicole’s understanding of the finality of death as a means of drawing her to Himself.
After being baptized around age ten, I read about Adoniram Judson and became burdened for the mission field. While studying pastoral studies and missions at Bible college, I interned in Southern Africa (South Africa and Zimbabwe) for two months. It was during this time that I fell in love with the people in this spiritually needy place. While serving as a biblical counselor, I completed seminary. In late 2021, we were approached to restart a Christian Camp in South Africa.
Past
For the past two years, we have restarted and are now stabilizing Paardeberg Mountain Retreat (PMR) on a part-time basis.
Praise the Lord, we have seen over ten young people receive salvation over the past two Winter Camp seasons. Many other spiritual conversations have occurred ranging from dating to ancestor worship.
During this time, I began language training and cultural studies. We have also partnered with local churches to learn from them how best to reach people in their culture and what a healthy church best looks like in their cultural context.
Burden
Although the Gospel is not new to Southern Africa, there are still many areas that have little Gospel presence. One of these places is Namibia. Namibia is a country of 3 million people (2023) with no American church-planting missionaries and few Gospel-preaching churches.
Though the majority of the country claims to be Christian, the true gospel is not what most mean. Many accept some christian teachings and incorporate them into their ancestor worship. Pentecostalism, Lutheranism, and the Nederduitse Gereformeerde Kerk also turn people away from the Truth. Namibians need Gospel witnesses who will share God’s Word, see them saved, and disciple them in personal relationships with Christ.
Team
We are working in a team with James & Anna Rossiter. James has served as a pastor for the past several years, and Anna is a registered nurse. The Rossiter's start deputation in July 2024.
Our vision is to establish a biblically faithful and growing church in every community throughout Namibia.

Support
Our desire is to steward the time God has given to us and develop deep friendships with those who partner with us in ministry. We have 41% of our needed monthly support, with 4 churches planning to vote on partnering with us by mid-2024.
Would you consider partnering with us through prayer and monetary support as we seek to be an extension of you and your church through church-planting in Namibia?
Thank You
for taking time to hear about the need in Namibia and how
God is calling us to share the Living Water in this desert land.
